SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — The weekend brought an exciting array of sports action in the region, with teams competing fiercely across various leagues.
In NHL action, the Minnesota Wild faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers, ending in a nail-biting overtime finish with a score of 2-1 in favor of the Flyers. Meanwhile, in Major League Soccer, Minnesota United battled Los Angeles FC, but ultimately fell short with a final score of 2-1.
In college football, Northern State University showcased a strong performance against Southwest Minnesota State University, winning decisively with a score of 55-23.
