We continue our Stay or Go series in 2025 by looking at the Eagles’ running back position. As the offseason approaches, one of the key questions for the team revolves around the future of Kenny Gainwell. The young running back has shown flashes of potential during his tenure with the Eagles, but his role has been somewhat inconsistent.
Gainwell has the versatility to contribute both in the running game and as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. However, with the emergence of other talents on the roster, his standing as a reliable backup could be in jeopardy. The Eagles' coaching staff will need to evaluate Gainwell's performance in the upcoming season, as well as the potential for other players to step up.
As the team considers its options, Gainwell’s ability to adapt and improve will be crucial. Fans and analysts alike will be watching closely to see if he can solidify his place in the lineup or if the Eagles will look to explore other avenues in their running back strategy for the future.
