Lightweight Bout Added to UFC Belgrade Card

The UFC's return to Belgrade, Serbia has a new addition to the fight card. Ludovit Klein and Tofiq Musayev will meet in a lightweight matchup at the event, which is set to take place later this year.

Klein, a Slovakian fighter, has been competing in the UFC since 2020. He holds a record of 6-2-1 in the promotion and is coming off a decision win over Thiago Moises in November. The 29-year-old is known for his aggressive striking and has finished four of his professional wins by knockout.

Musayev, an Azerbaijani fighter, joined the UFC in 2023 after a successful run in other organizations. He has a record of 2-2 in the octagon, with his most recent fight being a loss to Mateusz Rebecki. Before that, he picked up a win over Gabriel Benitez. Musayev is a former lightweight champion in the Fight Nights Global promotion and brings a well-rounded skill set to the cage.

The lightweight division is one of the deepest in the UFC, and both fighters are looking to climb the rankings. A win in Belgrade could put either man closer to a spot in the top 15.

The UFC Belgrade event is expected to take place at the Stark Arena. The card is still coming together, with more bouts expected to be announced in the coming weeks. The promotion has not yet confirmed a main event for the show.
